Unity Shoppe 4.15.14

Student Reflections: For some of us, this was our first visit to the Unity Shoppe. Our visit started with a tour from Barbara, the woman who founded the organization. She gave us a tour of the building while also explaining the idea behind the program. It was amazing to find out that this one place serves 22,000 people in the community every year! It was cool and different to work here because we all had different jobs and we got things done- bagging vegetables, hanging clothes, and sorting canned goods.
